Hello World! I’m An Wang Xuelong, a junior researcher interested leveraging deep learning to address global healthcare challenges, including cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

I aim to strike the balance between building performant models with human-centric concerns such as interpretability to shed-light into the black-box and model compression to ensure affordability of the overall system.

I’m particularly interested in multimodal approaches, such as vision-language models, and ensuring their robustness via introduction of inductive biases.
